PRAY OF THE DAY
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” Psalm 34:17-19
Unexpected turns and twists abound in our lives so much that we sometimes feel like on a rollercoaster ride: moving to fast speed, we get motion sickness, while in a free fall, the bottom drops out from under us. It's a two-way street, and it may seem like we can't win.
Because of this, it may be hard to keep our thoughts focused on the accuracy of God's Word.
Today, let us pray, asking for God's peace and provision to flood our hearts and minds.
